To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, we have established a comprehensive nomination and public voting procedure. Companies and individuals are invited to nominate themselves or others by following these steps:
1. Online Nomination Form
- Visit the official Africa Technology Awards website.
- Complete the online nomination form, providing detailed information about the nominee and the specific category for which the nomination is being submitted.
- Ensure all required fields are filled out accurately, including contact details, company profile, and a summary of achievements relevant to the chosen category.
2. Supporting Documentation
Submit supporting documentation that highlights the nominee’s achievements, innovations, and impact within the nominated category. This may include:
- Case studies
- Customer testimonials
- Performance metrics and data
- Awards and recognition received
- Media coverage and press releases
3. Submission Deadline
Ensure that the nomination form and supporting documentation are submitted before the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.
4. Confirmation of Receipt
After submitting the nomination, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging the receipt of your application.

What is the public voting process?
1. Announcement of Nominees
- Once nominations close, a preliminary screening will be conducted to ensure all nominees meet the eligibility criteria.
- The shortlisted nominees will be announced on the official Africa Technology Awards website and through various media channels.
2. Public Voting Period
- The public voting period will be announced, during which users of IT products and services can cast their votes for their preferred nominees. This is a peer Award. The technology leaders who utilize your solutions in their organisations select the recipients of the Awards.
- Voting will be conducted online through a secure and user-friendly voting platform.
- Voters will be required to register with their email addresses to ensure the integrity of the voting process.
2. Voting Guidelines
- Each voter can cast one vote per category.
- Votes will be monitored to prevent fraudulent activities such as multiple votes from the same individual or automated voting bots.

- Nominees are encouraged to promote their nomination and encourage their customers, partners, and the general public to participate in the voting process.

What is the final selection process?

- The winners will be announced at the CIO100 Symposium and Awards incorporating the Africa Technology Awards Ceremony on 20th November 2024 at the Enashipai resort and spa in Naivasha.
